This is where Charlotte shares the paintings shaped by her life in the Cotswolds, England. Her work is rooted in mood, depth and realism, with a focus on shaping atmosphere rather than simple imitation. Much of her practice centres on animals and food, from wildlife and farm life to the still life she photographs and creates in her studio. Each piece begins with big brushes and bold, confident strokes, gradually honing into smaller details with finer brushes as layers evolve. She builds her paintings thoughtfully to reflect the character, spirit and details of her subjects.
